PORTLAND, Maine – North Haven Capital (NHC), a private investment firm based in Portland, Maine announced that its portfolio company Interstate Fire Protection (IFP), based in Concord NH and Gardiner ME has acquired Advanced Fire Protection Services (AFPS), previously located in Minot ME.

IFP, a regional industry leader, has been serving customers in the Northeast since 1981, and has established strong relationships in both fire protection and detection and alarm industries, based on its proven expertise and dependable service. The Company implements effective fire protection solutions for a variety of customers, ranging from small pre-engineered systems to multi-hazard clean agent systems protecting costly equipment. IFP has deep systems expertise in several end markets: gas stations, food processing, manufacturing, telecommunication, power generation, forestry, marine terminals and vehicles.

AFPS, specializing in fire sprinkler system installation, inspection and 24/7 maintenance, was founded in 1986, by a retired Fire Chief with over thirty years of service. Over the years the Company has earned a reputation for integrity and reliability. The company’s established client base and market standing greatly enhances IFP’s service packages.
