Dan Espinal

Dan Espinal
Daniel Espinal is the founder of Rarebreed Veterinary Partners, an independent network of veterinary practices dedicated to providing an exceptional work experience for veterinary medical teams. He previously led the Corporate Development & Strategy team at IDEXX (NASDAQ: IDXX), where his responsibilities included leading and executing global acquisitions, managing the annual strategic planning process, and structuring complex partnerships for new diagnostic innovations.
Before his tenure at IDEXX, Espinal was a private equity and venture capital investor at Allied Minds, Plc (LSE: ALM), focusing on internet and communication technologies. Prior to joining Allied Minds, he served as a management strategy consultant at JSA Partners (formerly AT Kearney), a boutique M&A and strategy consultancy based in Boston, MA. There, he provided aerospace and defense companies with advisory services on market entry, competitive strategy, acquisitions, and investment decisions.
Espinal is also a combat veteran and airborne-ranger qualified infantry officer. He served as a combat advisor embedded with the Afghan National Civil Order Police, leading over 150 combat patrols in southeastern Afghanistan. His military background includes roles as an executive officer of the 173rd Long Range Surveillance Detachment (Airborne) and as an infantry platoon leader.
He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Business, and a BA in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University. Espinal is a devoted husband and proud father of four, including two humans and two canines.
Matt Bresnahan

Matt Bresnahan
Matt is the Vice President of Sales at Intec Automation. He genuinely loves to help his customers find the best solution. He values and emphasizes the need for open and active communication with customers throughout the lifecycle of a project and beyond, to make sure a world class experience is created! Matt says the best part of his job is “being in front of customers; working directly with existing and prospective clients to develop solutions that support their success and in turn, support Intec achieving its goals of growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.”
With 25 years of sales, general management and leadership experience, Matt respects the need for a balance in the commercial and operational sides of business. He is proud to be part of a management team who makes the customer experience part of the discussion every day. When Matt has time away from work he enjoys the outdoor life! Living on the coast of Maine, there are an abundance of activities year round. In the warm months cycling, mountain biking, hiking and golfing are on the top of his list. And in the winter, skiing and snowshoeing with his Brittany Bree are among his favorite hobbies. When he’s not on a mountain or by the water you can typically find Matt and his wife Holly cheering their kids on in one sporting event or another!

Richard DeMarle is a proven general manager with solid P&L experience, specializing in leading manufacturing companies through challenging situations or turnarounds. He is recognized as a strong analytic leader, known for his exceptional communication and administrative skills. His industry experience spans fire protection products, industrial controls, automotive parts, and appliance components.
DeMarle’s management approach is distinguished by several key strategies. He achieves team commitment through active listening and employee involvement, ensuring that team objectives are quantitatively linked to overall strategy. He places a strong emphasis on customer communication and satisfaction, striving to increase energy and focus throughout the organization. Under his leadership, teams are motivated to achieve substantial improvements, driven by a clear and effective management style.
John Chapman

John Chapman
John has been in the private equity and investment banking industries since 1983. He is a founder and director of KapStone Paper & Packaging Corporation. He was previously a Managing Director of Washington & Congress Managers, LLC, a private equity fund manager with over $800 million of capital invested in over 50 portfolio companies. W&C is a successor to Triumph Capital Group. Prior to Triumph, he was employed by Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he raised over $2 billion of debt and equity capital, and advised on numerous mergers and acquisitions. John is a graduate of Bates College, and received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Dean Tulumaris

Dean Tulumaris
Mr. Tulumaris currently is the President & CEO of Anjon Medical Technologies. Anjon provides precision metal cutting, finishing, clean room assembly packaging and labeling services to the medical device and orthopedic industry. Anjon’s facility is in Jacksonville, Florida and services customers worldwide.
Mr. Tulumaris currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Private Water Group. American Private Water Group invests in the water process from power supply, control, equipment, pre-treatment, process and distribution. In addition Mr. Tulumaris also serves on the Board of Directors and is the Shareholder Representative of ReadyDock, Inc., a start-up medical device and technology company. and has also served on the boards of 3 other companies. Mr. Tulumaris has participated in several company acquisitions.
Recently, Mr. Tulumaris served as the interim President and CEO of Relucent and Magnum Plastics, a subsidiary of MHI, Inc., and Clarapath, a medical device startup that designs and develops an automated pathology devices.
Mr. Tulumaris served as the President & CEO of ETE Medical. ETE Medical is a contract manufacturer that develops and manufactures medical components, sub-assemblies and assemblies for major medical device OEMs focused on the cardiovascular and orthopedic markets. During Mr. Tulumaris’ tenure, ETE achieved annual double-digit plus sales growth from $5M to $40M in 5 years and developed an extensive new product pipeline, which enabled the company to enter new markets. Additionally, under Mr. Tulumaris’ leadership, ETE executed several successful bolt-on acquisitions, such as Modified Polymer Components. Prior to ETE, Mr. Tulumaris served as the President of Aero Tube Technologies.
In addition Mr. Tulumaris was also CEO, President and COO of Memry Corporation from 2002 to 2009, a public company that was traded over the American Stock Exchange until its sale to Saes Getters in 2009. Memry Corporation was a contract manufacturer that specialized in nitinol products, extrusions and assemblies for the cardiovascular, orthopedic and neurological device markets. While at Memry, Mr. Tulumaris led in the acquisition and integration of Putnam Plastics, and the development of a robust new product pipeline. This resulted in a 3x growth in sales over an 8+ year period.
Mr. Tulumaris received a Bachelor of Arts and a MBA from Lewis University in Lockport, Illinois. He also holds a CPIM-certification.
Bob Goldstein

Bob GoldStein
Bob’s professional journey spans over 25 years and is deeply rooted with entrepreneurial beginnings. A natural progression pivoting from the co-founder of Single Digits, an industry leader in technology infrastructure and Wi-Fi services – which began as a two man team in the early 2000’s and is currently headquartered in Bedford, NH with 500 employees.
As CEO for 17 years, Bob led the company from the garage through its debt funded growth phase, to later closing three rounds of growth equity. In addition, the company grew to an industry leadership position through a combination of double-digit organic growth while sourcing and integrating 17 acquisitions between 2009 – 2019. Bob brought a clear style of open communication and metrics driven goals to build a leadership team that has taken them to new heights.
David Splaine

Currently advising sports team owners and organizations, active investor in private companies and serving as a board member. Have spent over 30 years in Corporate & Investment Banking. Built a Sports Finance Group from zero to $1B business at Shawmut/Fleet Bank in Boston. Headed Sales and Marketing for Boston Bruins and TD Banknorth Garden.
Currently serving as a part time Executive Director of the Greater Haverhill Foundation. Past board seats have included Boston Celtics LP (NYSE), Georgetown Bank (NASDAQ), Juki Automation, The Governors Academy, and the Executive Advisory Board for Wells Fargo New England. Currently on the board of The Chase Home, The Andover Companies, Wentworth Senior Living and Linwood Cemetery.
Scott Baker

Scott Baker
Scott Baker joined New England Development in 2015 with a primary focus to direct the financial and investment activities of the Family Office.
Prior to his tenure at New England Development, Mr. Baker spent close to a decade at Athena Capital Advisors LLC (Athena), serving in a variety of functions, including Vice President. He worked directly with high net worth families and institutions with a primary focus on designing and implementing customized strategic and tactical asset allocations. Earlier Scott was an Analyst in Athena’s research group with responsibilities including private equity, private real estate, and hedge fund due diligence. Mr. Baker also was with the State Board of Administration of Florida (Pension Board) where he was a Transaction Analyst within the Alternative Investments Group.
Mr. Baker received a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management from Florida State University. In 2008, Mr. Baker received the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and previously held the Series 65 license. Mr. Baker currently holds several board level positions for companies and organizations operating within real estate, hospitality, retail, and venture capital industries.
