PORTLAND, Maine – North Haven Capital (NHC), a private investment firm based in Portland, Maine announced that its HVAC Acquisitions portfolio expands upon its initial acquisition of Gagnon Heating & Air Conditioning (Gagnon), based in Bridgton ME with its second acquisition of Enertec Heating & Cooling (Enertec), located in Portland ME.
Gagnon, founded in 2021, and acquired by NHC in April of this year, is a full-service heating and air conditioning company specializing in renewable energy sources, geothermal, radiant heat, heat pumps, boilers and central air systems. The Company is the top geothermal installer in Maine, and serves residential and small commercial customers.
Enertec, was founded in 2014 and boasts over twenty years of service, operates in the residential HVAC segment providing heat pump evaluations, installations and post-installation maintenance and repair services in southern Maine.
The synergy between Gagnon and Enertec, including combined operating experience, broadening of existing sales markets, and implementation of a dedicated service structure, will promote growth through optimized resource allocation and technology enhancements across the board.
